LETTER TO BODY AFTER WEEK 4 OF FIRST STINT
So now we have an issue with the left knee. The disappointments don’t stop, do they?
As much as I am trying to look after you – as I promised I would do – you are throwing one issue after the other at me. What would it take to not make you complain; stop physical training completely? That we cannot do. I will rest the left knee – that means absolutely no Lower Body and Cardiopulmonary training (except maybe for abs, we’ll see how it goes) – until it does not hurt at all, but now you must allow us to work the Upper Body. I mean, we are now actually worse off than before when we had only the right shoulder to worry about. I would appreciate it very much if you will keep allowing me to use the resistance tubes as we did on Wednesday. We’ll stay with the lowest possible load until we can do all the sets prescribed by the Program before we slowly increase the load. Work with me, please; I don’t want to complain every week.
The only absolute positives at this point in time – four; yes, FOUR weeks into the Program – are the fat loss and reaching our first 12-Week Goal and we may very well exceed it by dropping a second hole in the waist belt (wouldn’t that be great!). Thank you very much. However, we're losing muscle mass, which is not good.
In the meantime, I will stay focused on our goals, the reasons we pursue them and our transforming patterns of action, all the while protecting you as good I can, and will appreciate it if you will stop hurting me.
