Gains Weight:
Mostly gained in my upper body.
Lifestyle (prior to program):
Couch Potato.
Background: Over the last decade, I've tried this BFL program several times and failed to get halfway. In the meantime, I've tried other ways but keep falling back to the BFL. I know the BFL works if I can stay committed. Before, it was either the training I missed or the eating I messed up which would be my failure; especially on the free days where I really would overdo it and make Monday's workout a real struggle. Since then I have gotten older and less healthy. I've been through two emergency surgeries in last 3 years with both almost costing me my life. I have been dealing with High Blood Pressure for the last decade and now I discovered earlier this year that I have Diabeties to add to my array of medications I take on a daily basis. Then lastly I have discovered that I have a fast irregular heart beat which I take medicine to help prevent it. I feel like a medicine cabinet which my wife of 10 years is concerned and rightly so. With us finally deciding to buy a house and then having some children, I was concerned that I may not live to enjoy any of that. I finally decided that this is it and have made plans to take 10 weeks of work off as overdue vacation owed to me to really concentrate and limit the amount of challenges as I do shift type work. I just started on Monday the 30th August and not looking back anymore!
Goals: I weighed in at 294 and need to get to 220! Goal: Lose 74lbs! I want to be able to get around without feeling out of breath or faint. I need to lose lots of body fat and desire lean muscle mass.
