Good Morning TA:
Mike: What a wonderful start..... I am a big... BIG thinker and always, almost always bite off more than I can chew. I am a perfectionist also, so when I plan too big and it does not work, I have a tendency to quit because I am not getting it perfect... I have to fight this tendency.... fight it long and hard... this is where calling forth the inner wolf comes in handy....
Right now, I have started a new semester for school and am having a rough time with my schedule. I always need about a month to work out the kinks of my schedule when I start school. Unfortunatly there is always something that takes back seat for a while and it seems to be my weight workouts.... got to figure this out..... I am getting tired too, so I need to deal with this toot sweet. I blow it when I am tired....
Linda: Good to see you!
Shana: Sending good thoughts and prayers your way today!
No time for more personals right now. I will be checking in and out, if all work out...
Hugs, Mary Jo

Good Morning everyone!!
I ended up fitting in another workout last night at Cross Fit. We did 12/9/6/3 of Cleans and Dips. So that's 12 cleans, 12 dips, 9 cleans, 9 dips etc. I used 45 kilos for the cleans (99 lbs) and can't do an entire dip without assistance, so I just lowered myself as much as possible.
This morning we worked on front squats. I did my first set of 5 at 65 kilos and failed on the 5th rep. The last two sets were at 60 kilos. Then our workout was 4 rounds of 16 kettlebell swings and 200meter run.
I am a bit frustrated with my lack of weight loss right now and am wondering about my goals I made. I know they are reasonable for a normal person (lose 15 pounds of fat), but my weight loss just always seems to be a very slow progression. Still, I am sticking to it and will tinker a bit more with my diet to see what else I can change for the better.
Have a wonderful Friday everyone!!
I am known to do the wop. Also known for the flinstone flop.

Great start Mike... There are Volumes written on Goals. Mike you have done a great job and i'm sure will still impress us!
Matt understand about getting the house ready for a baby. But put priorities on what needs to be done and don't sweat the small stuff.
Joc I've siad it before and I'll say it again you are Hardcore!
Shana here's to an easy day! I PM'd you back.
Telle rest does the body good. Njoy your day!
Greg you are insane! 1/2 in 8 weeks! That's why you lead the Asylum.
Alli shake ups are good and the right gear for the right job! Cool your getting your Mom started again.
Linda Good to see you. I don't think you could lose your spot here.
MJ - nothing wrong with working out the brain. But you need to watch your eats.
Amy sounds like you have a good plan and sticking to it is the best. Are you eating enough? Sounds backwards but sometimes it's true.
Me Ok didn't get on the elip last night as planned the kids interveened. And by time i got passed that Liv was trying to get brook down in the room with the Elip. So I'm going to get it done this afternoon.
Rip It TA!

Hi TA,
I'm in need of extra time for tracker. I am not liking this marketing much. You wouldn't think it would be exhausting just sitting/standing around at marketing events, talking to people BUT it tires me out. I got home last night and fell asleep on the couch for an hour.
Eating has been good, but only 2 workouts this week. I can't afford to let that slip.
Love the start Mike. I've never been very good at setting goals, but I am obviously taking my time with the weight loss. Hopefully that means it will last. I do feel like I'm on the right track. I just don't obsess about numbers as much, and I always think about how this is becoming a lifestyle. That thought kind of takes the pressure off, which means I don't fall apart as quickly when I don't have a good day/week. No matter what...I'm sticking with the plan, And when I falter, I'll get back into the right frame of mind more quickly.
Telle...you mentioned the Biggest Loser. I talked to Kelly Adair at a BFL event a couple of years ago. She is a personal trainer now, after a championship BFL win. She was telling me about a BL contestant that came in about a year after her show had aired. She had lost a tremendous amt of weight on the show. Well, when she met with Kelly, she had gained about 1/2 back. Kelly tried to set her up with a BFL type workout program and this woman started arguing about the amt of exercise. She thought she needed a lot more. Kelly pointed out how the quick wt loss from the BL didn't seem to last. This girl just couldn't get it that maybe she should be open to other ideas.
Anyway, I have to get back to work. TGIF!!!!! I don't want to become a weekend warrior, so I have to figure out how I'm going to incorporate my healthy living with my sucky job.

Mike, this was a great start. I tried to get on yesterday but was too busy at work. When I got home my computer kept logging me out when I tried to post. I have switched to a new comp this morning.
It looks like I'm not the only one busy at work. I guess that's a good thing in this economy.
I have an aerobic day. Heavy bag and jump rope, no kicking. My hammie is much better but I'm not taking any chances.
I went to the store last night and saw that the latest edition of Muscle and Fitness had an article "Unleash the Beast" on the cover. I haven't read it but hopefully it'll be better than what I did the other day.
I'll check in later.
I'm not even supposed to be here today.
