Congrats on the weight loss -- way to go!  Where did you start and where are you at now?  It sounds like we are about the same height and close to the same starting weight.  How long did it take you to lose the 30 lbs?

You eat the same thing every day?  FYI you may be aware of it and it doesn't appear to have slowed you down, but a bfl portion of meat is 3-4 oz not 5.

I started at 290 and now weight 260...lost 30 pounds in approx 3 months...I've been holding my own for about 3 weeks, but the resting is over now!

Yes, thanks, for BFL info, however, I am now doing more of a higher protein, very low carb regimen...similar to The Cut Diet/Diet Solution found on Scivation.  It has kick-started things for me again and I am feeling so good with energy to spare!

Any suggestions are welcome!   I've been around BFL since 1996...it's a great lifestyle!

We are the same height and starting at almost the same weight... i was shocked when I checked the scale last week - it is one of the things that really made me motivated to do this because I have never weighed that much and I REFUSE to hit 300.  I can't wait to be back down to the 260s and below.  I am thinking near there is where I should be at the end of this challenge.. lower maybe if I can keep up the 2 a days and really work hard and eat clean.  Hope you can post some before and after pics   Good luck

B/P this morning:  122/75

F/B/S   (Fasting Blood Sugar) 114

Cardio is planned for Gold's Gym at some point today...20 minute HIIT on the treadmill...and, 15 minute SP on the bike

Planned meals:

turkey bacon, 1 wh egg, 5 egg whites, 2% cheese, 1 sl low carb bread

protein shake

grilled chicken breast, large greens salad, 1/2 apple

protein shake

tuna, green salad, broccoli, almonds

2 tbls natural peanut buttter, 6 almonds

Completed Nutrition 102 last evening...amazing at the things I learned...one thing for sure...I really need to take better care of myself and listen to my body...it sometimes sends me messages that I either ignore and just "forget"!  These bodies were designed to last a long, long time if we properly take care of them.  I drive a Mustang GT, Roushsupercharger...it must have a the highest octane gasoline possible or it will not run as it should...as a matter of fact, over the long term it would not run at all.  My body is much the same way.  It requires high octane fuel...it just won't function as it was designed on anything less...

OK...Wednesday is before me...gym bag is packed and in the trunk of the Mustang...cooler is packed...I;m ready for the world....at least as I know it.

I will post some pictures --- probably this week end --- although I am not proud of them!   Hee hee      Embarassed

KA-BAM!

Thursday morning and all is quiet presently...

B/P   121/77

P  59

F/B/S   135   It was all you can eat Free night at the Flying Tigers baseball game and I had 2 slices of Lil' Caesar's Pep Pizza...I know, I should have eaten the topping and not the bread and I would've been alright.

Things I have to do today:

Wash the Mustang!

Deposit $50 into savings account

Buy some groceries

Attend special and last session with the Dietician at Nutrition 102...has been fun and enlightning.

Interesting:  one of the local pro bodybuilders was in Gold's yesterday.  He had a photographer with him taking pictures as he did various movements with barbells, dumbbells, etc.  He looks great, but, honestly I don't want to look like that.  He looks like an android from a Marvell comic book magazine...wins some contest, however!  I just wanna be healthy and toned!

1. turkey bacon, 2 wh eggs, 3 whites, 2% cheese, 2 low carb toast

2. protein  shake

3, grilled chicken breast, large salad, 1/2 apple

4. grilled chicken breast, broccoli, almonds

5. 2 tbs peanut butter, almonds

UBWO at some point today...Gold's Gym!

OK...outta here!       Laughing

"Healthy" is the biggest goal!  I'm over being as ripped and muscular as possible.  It's all about being strong and healthy in my opinion.  Crush the upper body workout today!  Your eats look pretty good!
