This individual journal is perfect since I'm not a member of any particular team. I'm training for a 5K in October and this is the first time I've ran in a while. I started Sunday and my 5K time was 45:01. Yikes. Did weights yesterday, and went to do 5K training again this morning and my treadmill decided to go on the fritz, probably from lack of use. I ran around the block 3X for 30 minutes instead, but not sure how far that is. Gotta drive the route today to see how I did. Eats not okay. It's fair week and I'm enjoying the fair food, which the highly processed carbs are really helping me get through the runs.  My weight is fine and I'm not trying to lose any, just maintain. I need a new goal, so 5K training it is. My goal time is 35 minutes. Why not?
What would the child you used to be think of the adult you have become?

I'm in it to FINISH it! I'll start training to win one after I finish the first. It's been all about muscle growth for so long that I'm not a runner anymore. I used to run cross country in high school. I don't know how the heck I did that!! And thanks
