Good Morning Team! How is your eating going? Notice the word diet isn't used? Screw diets. Well for me the eating has been so so. I swear if I don't nail it in the gym I don't nail it from the plate. The two are so equally needed that I can never seem to do one without the other. The fact is, one doesn't work without the other. Well that isn't entirely true. You can get fat as heck running all day and shoving pizza in your hole or you can eat very little and become a skinny-fat nasty little maggot. Have a good day Team and kill in the gut and the gym.

Nice picture.

My eating...well it's not great. I either don't eat enough and it affects my workouts, or I eat too much and get the belly pooch back. My gym is starting a pretty serious nutritiion challenge later this month. Includes before and after blood work, dexa scans, seminars with some CF nutrition dude, and more. I'm 99.9% sure I'll sign up for this. I think it would be interesting.

Also this month our workouts (except Fridays) are going to be untimed so we can really work on technique. Kinda looking forward to that. God knows i need it. Today is:

10 Pull-ups

10 KB Swings 53# / 35#

10 Pull-ups

10 Right arm KB push press

10 Pull-ups

10 Left arm KB push press

10 Pull-ups

10 Right arm KB snatch

10 Pull-ups

10 Left arm KB snatch

10 Pull-ups

I may ask to modify the pull ups to strict ones with a band. My right shoulder is giving me fits. Have a good one!

My food is...OK. I am making a huge effort to improve my eating without being on a "diet" and I like that focus.

Yesterday I got into candy at work and I seriously could not stop. It was interesting to note my reaction.

Freeky picture.  I don't do diets.  Fueling the body with good food is more like normal than some special occasion.  Workouts and food go pretty much in lock step.  If my eating sucks then I don't feel like working out and if I don't workout then I eat a ton of crap.

Did a 20 minute HIIT on the stairmaster over lunch.  Might do some weights tonight.  Looks like it's going to rain here in Indy for the first time in a while.

I went 2 months without sugarfee gum, then September happened and I'd missed it so I had some. Having some now and I see it now contains Ace-K so I will enjoy this pack and be done.

Diet/Dieting
This word has been ruined by years of schemes and madness. It also implies a 'temporary' style of eating in most cases, so that doesn't apply to me. I eat right all the time, all year, and will keep on doing so for the rest of my life. When I am talking about eating, I call it 'eating' or 'food' and will not even use the term diet. That word is dead to me.

I'm with ya, Greg.  If my workouts are good, my eatin's good.  The past few days I've been beasting my workouts, so my eating is better than normal.  I guess I hate working that damn hard and having it go to waste by eating crappola.  I started a mini-vacation today but I got in a good back workout, followed by some HIIT bag work, and abs.  Oh yeah.  I mowed the grass today...a coupla of times.
