My legs are thick, dead and pain-filled pillars that feel as though they couldn't support the weight of an eggshell.
My leg workout was as follows. Try it as a one day deal. Fun 4 sets of each. The first four are heavy in weight and rep schemed from 8-12. The second four are high reps from 12 to 20
Squat
Hack squats with feet forward as possible to rip your a$$ a new one.
I will try and post my weekly picture tonight. No surprises, little progress and a lot of derrier pain. Oh and yea I doctored the intro to this song of awesomeness.

That workout makes me cringe just looking at it. Good for you though!

I never felt a huge difference doing the various angles on calf raises --- do you concentrate on pushing off of the ball of foot (toes out) vs. the outside (toes in) vs. both (straight)?

My legs hurt too. Haven't had DOMs like this in a very, very long time.
I'm not quite sure I understand your question Jared. I do push off the balls of my feet. I drop down, hold for a couple of seconds then push up as high as I can go and hold for a couple of seconds. I do enough reps for each until I can't take it anymore or I fail. I can definitely feel the difference on the inner, outer and straight. Toes out, my heels are nearly touching. I don't use nearly the weight I used to as to get an extreme burn.
Carol, I'm glad you are hurting too. Does that help?

That's a hellava workout Greg. Guaranteed to bring the pain.
If in doubt, poke it with a stick.

Brutal leg workout Greg.
Eating has been good the last few days. Might get a light workout in tonight. Hoping to get back to bringing it soon

Blue, I just have never really done heavy calf raises before, so I was trying to visualize how the various angles would hit the calf differently since it seems the rotation comes from the hip joint.
