Good morning ladies

My stomach is still feeling weird, so I'm moving a little slow.  Hoping it's just a 24 hour kind of thing, then I should be "normal" at about 3 this afternoon.

Weekend plans for everyone?

We have the new babysitter coming over for 3 hours tomorrow afternoon, so DH and I will go out for a bit together.  Too short of a time to really drive anywhere good, so it won't be too exciting--but, I need baby steps for this!  Inlaws are coming on Sunday for their Xmas w/the kids.  So NOT excited about that, but I will hide it for the munchkins.  They will be late and I will be annoyed and I can predict it because it happens everytime.  Anyways!  Haircuts for everyone since FIL is a barber, so that is a good thing.

Ok, bbl

OH I'm glad to see that Tracker is working. I tried to start a thread last night and I see that it didn't post.

Here is one of the pictures, I can't remember which one.

Erika - I'm proud of you! Baby steps. Your kids will report back what happened I'm sure. With the in-laws why don't you just tell your kids they are going to arrive at a latter time, then if they are early it can be a happy surprise!

Today is a rest day, except I do have a hot date with my foam roller. My shoulders and upper back are so tight.

Morning Glams!

As to yesterdays suggestions.... Yes I am going to try to put 2 workouts in this weekend I am feeling goodish I actually feel thin the last few days even though my stomach has been a little mucky.  I think it does not like the protein shakes twice a day anymore.  I will be changing that up I think in two weeks ... can't believe I have been back at it for 12 days now.  Granted I have had a few things off my plan but not so bad to put me on the wrong side of the cal count.  Lets just say that two days this week don't really count towards my goal.  I should be on target for my 1 pound this week .... not sure it will show on the scale since that is a lagging indicator and is not really to be trusted.  I think tomorrow morning I am going to get up and run a 5k.... that is just 4 laps around the park... I might not be able to run the whole way but I am sure I can walk run that far.  not sure about the rest of the day but I will come up with something perhaps even a bike ride this weekend.

Ok I am up at work and have 2 cups of cofffee in me way to early I think I am going to get a few things done and will come back and see how everyone is doing.

100% nothing less ... anything less is Failure

Reading Betsy and the JELLO made me smile today! Random acts of kindness....What is one thing you can do today?

Erika can you e-mail me a Pinterest invite as the FB one put me on the waiting list. I will PM my e-mail. Worth a try! Your not going to believe this but I MUST get my Christmas tree down. I really should have done it before I went back to work but DH wasn't around to get the tubs down for me in the garage. When I put the tree up I didn't need his help but don't want to rip out a stitch....LOL!

Nicole I totally agree the more progress I make the better my eats get. OMG! I got on the foam roller last night and my back is so sore from punching that it really really hurt!

Kyra isn't that the truth "not sure it will show on the scale since that is a lagging indicator and is not really to be trusted. " The scale is a lagging indicator. I notice with my body that the scale takes 2 weeks to catch up....TGIF girl! I bet the weather in AZ is fabulous!

Conni are you feeling chipper this am? That DNA stuff has me really confused. So you have NO cancer now? That's totally AWESOME!

I didn't make it to body pump this am. I was really sore in all areas of my body including my girl parts that were removed so I thought I better rest. I am planning to hit Chisel in the am before the swim meet. My scale isn't so friendly but the BF% has dropped so I will take that as some muscle building happening and thats my goal!

YOUR TREE IS STILL UP?!?!  OMG, that would be driving me crazy!

I just sent you an invite with your email--see if that works better.

Oh, and I thought the pic above was a drink, not Jello!

Erika - there must be a little bug going around today I woke at 5AM with a terrible bellyache & it really isn't going totally away hope you have a good time tomorrow! DH & I haven't had a datenight since I first got Isaiah when he was only 4! I think thats gonna be on my list along with my once a week "ME" time! I think we need to have a dinner/date night once a month.

Nicole - so proud of how dedicated you've been this week. Enjoy your foam roller. I love/hate those things! I was so excited for my little surprise visit from Betsy It's nice when you get little surprise visits. Betsy is such a sweetheart!

Dee - I noticed that as Jello right away & it put a BIG smile on my face, I can't wait to get my Jello! DH took my tree down before I came home from my transplant. I think he didn't want to hear my mouth or more like, he KNEW I'd take it down if he didn't! Your "chisel" class always makes me cringe! Yea the DNA stuff makes no sense to me. I went into the hospital with female DNA & came out with ALL male DNA & NONE of my own Yes they are saying I'm cancer free BUT the Graft vs host disease is more risky than cancer ?????? I just wake up everyday & move forward

Kyra - so happy you are feeling "goodish" & thinner! Feeling thin ALWAYS changes my world around! I think it's wonderful you have set a goal of 2 workouts set for the weekend! You are going to feel so fantastic come Monday morning!

Hoping my belly calms down. I'm wondering if its the morphine drip? I'll try it yet today & if it continues then I'm going to have them back off of it.

I haven't had anything to eat today so I'm hoping the Jello tastes really good! I know it will. I need to work on my menu for February, I love making out my menu

OK I think its about time to take a little snooze

just saw a post ahead of ours about a gadget that makes stuffed burgers & it got me thinking....Some people have a hard time with ground turkey burgers being tasteless or dry SOOOOOOOOOOOO I was thinking why don't we work this weekend on our best turkey burgers..

My DH is kind of like Erika's DH with if it isn't beef it isn't meat.

I'm excited to see what kind of burgers you all come up with. I don't have my book here at the hospital BUT the EFL cookbook has an AWESOME italian turkey burger recipe & can't forget their incredible Turkey meatloaf recipe! I must be getting my tastebuds back cuz I'm hungry

ok now REALLY it IS nap time!

I love a good burger--whatever it's made from--but it must be piled high w/lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, banana peppers, grilled mushrooms & onion and slobbery with ketchup and mustard.  Yeah, that's how I roll

Feeling a bit better--so hoping it's almost done upsetting my stomach.  Had some toast this morning and a turkey sandwich for lunch, and so far so good.  I am however, going to play it safe and sit and watch some tv for naptime while folding laundry.  I wouldn't want to overexert myself just yet

Hiya - Busy night ahead so I'm prepping for it!

M1 egg,cheese on toast

M2 bar

M3 Grilled chicken sand

M4 banana w/Grk yogurt

Oh I had a 40 calorie hot chocolate with almond milk also.

M5????

Erika - Glad you are feeling better and proud of you for getting a sitter. LOVE grilled mushrooms on a burger.

Conni - I have a good turkey burger recipe, need to find it for you. Take it easy and rest rest rest. Love Betsy, I so wish that I could fly all my favorite people to a destination to just be together.

FW - Red and I are the only ones that share a love of feta. It seems to gross everyone else around here out! She is the BEST little veggie eater. I have to give the other 2 kids the evil eye when the act grossed out by what she is eating, like lentil chili or a veggie tray. Sorry you are working the weekend away.

Dee - That foam roller does make you feel better if you can stand it!

Kyra - So glad you are in a better mind set. Glad you made the change for yourself.

Gotta GO! XOXOXOX
