Team Mephobia - Monday, December 30

So while starting today would have been great, I do believe I shall be starting on Jan. 1

My goals are to get back to the 120-125 range (currently at 145) and stop with the addictions of sugar and carbs.  Mentally, I am ready.  I just HATE and LOATHE food prep.  That's what I'll be doing tonight - I have my coupons.

And I'd like to add that I am so thrilled to have Meg back on board with the group!  (and everyone else - you know I love you all)

Kroger had Tyson Chicken Boobs for $1.99# yesterday Katie.

Made myself sick by not eating before legs this morning.  Or I'm pregnant.

LOL Michelle. I wish I could "like" that post of yours.

Hot Damn that is a good price for chicken boob! Even at Costco here it comes to $2.80/lb on a good day.

I too, am stoked to have Meg back. And congrats on the baby!!!

Getting ready for workout tonight in about an hour. Tonight I squat, and clean and jerk.

I am known to do the wop. Also known for the flinstone flop.

Am seriously jealous of grocery prices in the US. The difference between the two countries is pretty significant.

I'd give the eats a B+. Two big shrimp salads but had some mayo in the dressing and their was bacon in there. Supper had roast chicken and then smashed regular potatoes again with a bit more bacon. A bit inflammatory but not bad. And a big bottle of homemade kombucha at lunch and a shake PWO.

Training was okay. Peed myself twice. Like, on the platform, having to go home to change and then coming back to finish... My lever belt is a bit... tight post Christmas. That's what I'm blaming. Anyways, it was on the minute front squats x2 for 8 minutes @ 160lbs, 3 position cleans x5 working from 105-145lbs, 30 seconds on/90 rest of power cleans @ 105lbs (12, 12, 11, 10), then a gross "metcon" of 3 rounds 5 squats at 80 percent (225lbs for me) and then 15 chest to bar. Time was 13:37 and includes a couple of trips to the washroom and then very carefully working through the squats to minimize the mess.

I CrossFit for the euphemisms.

Hahahaha Leya! I've peed a little a couple of times during our strength and conditioning workouts.

Damn Andy...can you please edit that picture. Way too big.

Hi from upstate NY. Enjoying time with the family. Have gotten a few workouts in at my sister in law's box. However, the eats and beverages have not been good. As well as the lack of sleep. So I'm not feeling so great these days. Ready to get back to business in earnest once I get home. Some of the pictures taken of me on this trip have actually made me cry. For real. Silly, perhaps, but true.

Embrace the suck.

♥♥♥ Carol.  We all go through these cycles.  You helped me pull my head out of my ass and I'm here to do the same for you.  Enjoy your family time, when it's over we'll deal with it.  ♥♥♥
