GOOD MORNING TEAM!!

It looks like yesterday was a good day all around the team. Lets keep the momentum building and kick some more (our own) ass today as well.

Today's plan for me is:

Squats - 3 waves of 7/5/3

Clean Drills - 2 cleans and 1 split jerk on the minute, 6 minutes

WOD: 4 Rounds of a 400m row, 10 burpees, 20 ab mat situps

I am known to do the wop. Also known for the flinstone flop.

Nice workout!

I wrenched my back yesterday on a failed 94# push press. Felt fine yesterday, but I woke up in the middle of the night to pee and felt it. It seems to be loosening up this morning, though. Gonna head to the regular gym and try an old fashioned BFL workout. Not sure I remember how.

Posted my pictures. Not an easy thing to do, but I know how much that motivates me to improve. Got a lot of work to do. So here goes nothing!

And I still need to re-learn how to post images and links on here so my starter posts are boring for now

Jesus, Mary and St. Joseph. I can't remember how to change my profile photo. I accidentally had my back picture on there. (Yikes) so I changed it real fast, but now I want my face off of here. Not super user friendly.

HA...Carol - I did the same thing with my pictures.  I know we are our own worst critics - but seriously...your pictures.  If that's your starting point, holy cow in a couple of weeks!!!  I can't wait to watch your progress.  And looking back at your very first set of pictures brings back some really fun memories of how I couldn't wait to see on the days that tracker told me you had updated your pics as you were someone I loved to see making this amazing shift.

Amy - nice work on the lifting!  I updated that little blog I have and put the workouts on over there.  There was a girl at my gym who is about my size that cleaned 185 last week.  I was like...WHAT???  Where do you workout, Amy?

I was going to workout last night - and then my pipes froze so I started freaking out thinking they were going to bust and felt a need to google everything I could find on the subject.  Four hours later...still no water and all I could imagine was a line breaking and the boy and I being covered in water and frozen by morning.  No - I'm not dramatic at all.  So...I'll be doubling up a workout tonight, it seems.

Food has been good today.  I'm all about these tuna wraps.  Now if I could just enjoy it enough and put in the work to look like Chicken Tuna, I'd be good with that.

Something cute and sarcastic should go here but I can't think of anything. Check back later.

KJ I read that your bosses came and helped you out. Who does that? Very nice! And thanks. I am super unhappy about how I've let the nutrition go, but I know I can get back there. No tuna for me, though.

Leya, how did the mobility class go?

So, it was really weird doing a traditional workout. No one there to tell me what to do. No one there telling me to hurry and pick the bar back up. But there were lots of bimbos wearing super cute workout clothes and lifting 5# dumbbells. And big meat heads grunting away. I kind of liked it. Back feels fine now, too.

Now to figure out my meals. Haven't had M1 yet, which isn't so great. I'm thinking mustard glazed chicken thighs, sweet potato, and some spinach for my first meal of the day.

I'm gonna post what I've done here. I have a goal this year to drop at least 30 pounds, if not more. I aim to work out 5-6 days a week.

Yesterday I did a great cardio workout and today I did UBWO followed by a 10 min brisk walk to end it out.

Nutrition is going to be my key to success. It's not a matter of eating fast food or restaurant food because there aren't any restaurants around! Ha! We are in the middle of nowhere! Anyway my issue is eating baked goods and sugar. If I can stay away from those foods, I should be great to lose the weight! I love fruits and veggies, so that is good!

I really would like to be a part of a team and I know all you gals from tracker before or have remained in contact through fb. I need an accountability team, and I know you all will provide it. Thanks :-)

I took my week 0 pictures I just need Andy to upload them (they're on his phone).

Katie- I workout in a 24Hr Fitness. I was lucky to join one where one of the trainers had his own stash of bumper plates he keeps locked up. I get to use them and they don't mind me dropping the weights in my little corner. It's a bit of a bummer not having all that a Crossfit gym does, but I make it work. Oh, and it's like 65 degrees here

Carol- I remember doing the same thing with my pictures in the past. Oh the HORROR! I checked out your pictures and I'm with Katie....the shrinking is on it's way. Oh, and how many bikinis does someone need? Every picture of yours you are in a different bikini LOL.

Leya - I hope the mobility class went well. I never felt like I knew enough when I was teaching. There is always more to learn out there. But you are so knowledgeable...I'm sure it went well!!

FoxyC- Carol is in charge around here . Looks like you've got a good start going. Were you on Tracker previously?
