Good morning and happy July!  How did that happen?!

A great class last night and a great day for me on the books eating what I had planned. Ready for a repeat today!

Got up this morning to try out T25 cardio workout--interesting and it made my butt sweat   So, I guess that's a success   I want to get back to my morning workouts, so I figure something short would do it.

I think we're in for another rainy day today, and hopefully it rains when it's supposed to be baseball and we get to all stay home tonight.  So, I will take the rain, but when I dictate the times!

Katie--Good luck today on your first day back to work.  Your monkey looks adorable!

Dee--if I was to sum it up, I guess it was him feeling unappreciated/unequal in our relationship the most, and then boosted by someone else paying attention/boosting his confidence.  Have you recovered from your conference?  No Mr. Ball for 2 weeks?!  What's your plan?

Nicole--miss you!  Hope all went well with your visit to your parents.  Got those running shoes on now?

Hi Beth!  Did you enjoy your day yesterday?  Oh, wait--aren't you done for the whole week now?!  Bet you're poolside already...

HI ERIKA!!!  Yeah, it's halfway through the year already.  Time to refocus on my goals and life and make some plans to get things DONE.

Good job on getting that workout in this morning, and the workout last night.   I hope you guys get rained out so you can have a family night off.  And thanks for sharing about your hubby.  I'm really glad you guys are making progress.

I so needed someone to slap the nacho doritos out of my hand last night... one of those... "oh, a few won't hurt" days.  Back on track today.  Me being tired and moody is not a good plan for eating healthy.  But I TOTALLY enjoyed getting off work, just going home, and having a quiet, nice, veg on the couch kind of evening.  It was really nice.  And I have five more days of it.  Ahhhhh.  I'm working today and tomorrow, then off for the rest of the week.  A friend has invited me to her lake house this weekend, and if I can figure out what to do with my dog, I'll go.  I may just go up for the day one day.

Not much else going on.  The guy I had a second date with this weekend has not texted since Sunday, so I'm guessing he's moving on.  AGAIN... why is it so damned hard for a man to send a "hey, I'm just not into you" text?  Freaking wimps.  On to the next, I guess.

Work is so quiet this week it is AWESOME.  I'm getting LOTS done.

Dee, your party this weekend sounds huge and fun and busy.  I didn't realize you guys catered.  Or maybe I did and just forgot.  Either way, good luck getting it all done.  And congrats to your DD, who is such a good driver!  It's such a big life change for you all.  Wow.  Pretty soon you'll be empty nesters... crazy!

I am enough.

Hey Chics!

Shew puppy does not have parvo! It's a busy day today interviewing cancer Survivors I am sure I will be bawling all day! BBL...

Erika – Love that morning poster. I think I just need to think about that when I am tempted. No Mr. Ball for 2 weeks and I managed to forget to set my alarm this am. I am hoping to find some weight workouts that I can do similar to his plans for 2 days of the week when I normally workout with him. What a tough lesson that is from your husband I am sure. So what did the counselor suggest for you to do so he feels appreciated? So what are your TRUE thoughts on the T25? Worth the $$?

Beth – The one thing that I did enjoy in NOLA was that I could do what I wanted to do on my schedule. Which never happens for me. Enjoy the me time. Yes you need to find a dog sitter and go to the lake what a perfect way to spend the 4th of July. We do the catering thing to keep my DH from opening a restaurant and to make a few extra $ he can get the creative side of cooking. He really hasn’t done much in the last couple of years because of his hip and standing for long periods of time would kill him. I personally like the 30 person 5 course meals that we do. Less stress and more of a profit.

Katie – Good Luck to you and the little one today!

Nicole – How are things going for you? Is you mom healing well and how was the trip?

Hi Dee!  Yeah for no parvo!  Sounds like you have a rough, but heartwarming kind of day ahead.  Counselor has guided us to see that he does need to do more regarding taking care of our "business" of a family and deep down, I've been angry that he hasn't done that automatically--so yeah, I did not treat him as an equal.  He's shown my DH what his actions and words mean to me and how I have to not take things so literal and hear what he says the way he meant them.  So, it could come down to listening to each other's intent and acting like we care and want to take care of each other.  He talks a lot about facing what we feel, instead of turning away from it or keeping it inside.  Embrace the suck I guess to really get through it.

Anyways......

Thoughts on T25:  It was a good solid cardio workout, but the jumping bothered me some already.  Calorie burns were similiar to Turbo Fire for me, but the music and such kept my mind off the time with Turbo.  I'd get it used at a steal of a price, but not new.  The workout I did this morning is the base workout for the Alpha month, so that might kill me with repitition---we'll have to see!

Good morning!  Up early to do paperwork (yes, THAT paperwork, Beth as the 5th is a-coming!!)  Also, making some food to take to my parents (mom hurt her back/stressing out and to check on my dad) and prepping some family meals for the week.  Love that!

Just Total Body tonight as no Spin for the week and ready to eat all my food on my schedule.

32 oz of water in so far.  Go get it ladies!!

I really just need one full night of uninterrupted sleep. Hoping that will happen soon. I did manage to get up and get a great kickboxing class in. I have no idea why it’s so hard for me to hit 500 calories burned in an hour these days…If I even want to come close my heart rate has to be super high for the entire hour. I did about 415 today.

Erika – Interesting information. I find that I take things that DH says literal and they make me mad and when I say something it’s not what he means when he says them. For example he said this morning he was going to come home after work and clean the entire kitchen because of the dirt and hair. So I took that as an insult as I detailed the floors (like Conni) Monday night and this am I detailed the counters etc… So it made me feel like I don’t clean good enough for him. After I told him that he said it’s not you at all it’s my obsessive compulsiveness when I am cooking that I have to have the kitchen a certain way. Relationships are so challenging! I am finding that as I get older my tolerance level is less and I am super sensitive. Things like that in the past I would just roll off my back and could care less. Like if he wants the kitchen a certain way he can do it himself. I’ve learned it all goes back to my mom and never feeling like what I do is good enough. I will have to check out the Turbo Fire. I am sure T25 is similar to Insanity and the jumping irritates my back too.

Beth – How is it to be home alone? Last day of work today?

Katie – How was the first day?

I am currently enjoying my coffee!

Dee--the thing about TF is that it's a bit hard on your knees as well, as there's a lot of turning knees inward and moving sideways.  So, some caution if you do it on carpet and until you get the moves down.  Some jumping, but they always show modifications.  And yes, it is truly odd how people can say one thing and others hear something else.

Ok, heading outside before the rain hits!
